Wussy – Inhaler
Wussy have released their brand-new single, “Inhaler”.
The track arrives as a powerful preview of their upcoming album ‘Cincinnati Ohio’, due out November 15 – their first release in six years and the first since the passing of guitarist and co-founder John Erhardt in 2020. The nearly six-minute track showcases Lisa Walker’s vocals over a landscape of buzzing guitars, building into a monumental slow-burning journey.
Walker describes the song as celebrating life’s connecting moments: “This song is my way of celebrating those small things that make one feel connected to the rest of the world. Be it a poem or a song, a TV or radio show, or a moment when someone showed you kindness. You never want to lose your ability to wonder at those things. They keep you tethered to what’s real.”
Following previously released tracks “The Great Divide” and “Cellar Door”, “Inhaler” further demonstrates why Wussy remains a band that inspires deep devotion among their listeners, crafting hypnotic indie rock that reveals new layers with each listen.
